FAQ
Dark Frontiers is a web3 action-based third-person MMORPG set in an alternate version of space. Players immerse themselves in surviving on a captivating yet harsh alien moon, where resourcefulness and creativity are tested through combat and strategic adaptation. The game's ecosystem is intricately tied to NFTs and its token - $DARK, and operates on the BSC Network.
The creative force behind Dark Frontiers is GGXYZ Studio, the in-house game development arm of the Gamestarter Launchpad.
You can find more information about Dark Frontiers updates and announcements on the game's official website, social media channels, and community forums. Be sure to follow Dark Frontiers on X (Twitter) and join the Telegram and Discord communities to stay up-to-date on the latest news and developments.
Tokens, specifically $DARK and $DFCC, play a central role in the Dark Frontiers Economy. They are necessary for activities related to non-fungible tokens (NFTs) such as crafting, upgrading, and merging, as well as for other in-game purchases and upgrades.
$DARK is the premium currency of Dark Frontiers and will be necessary for all NFT-related activities such as crafting, upgrading, and merging. All equipment from spacesuits and resource-gathering tools to various weapons in Dark Frontiers are NFTs with different stats and even random abilities that present the possibility for different player or activity builds, values, and a wide variety of combinations. The goal of having dual tokens is to provide more stability and control for the overall value in the Dark Frontiers economy.
DFCC is an additional system of in-game credits in Dark Frontiers. Due to the very high number and frequency of in-game transactions, these credits will not be on the blockchain but can be converted to its token form $DFCC (Dark Frontiers Corp Credits) via the in-game bank NPC.
$DARK being the premium currency and the driving force of Dark Frontiers, will be earnable directly in a limited number of ways, mainly through special events and tournaments, earned as one-time rewards, and staking mechanics,
Players can earn DFCC by playing the game, completing quests, gathering resources, selling items to NPCs, and so on.
DFCC can be used for a variety of purposes, such as being used as part of the crafting and upgrading of lower-tier NFTs together with $DARK, upgrading skills, buying necessary resources for certain NFTs, buying consumable items like ammo and healing items, and trading them in for $DARK.
No, $DARK is and will always remain the main token of the game. DFCC is an in-game credit system meant to provide additional ways for players to engage with the game's economy.
The Dark Frontiers Economy will be balanced through a variety of measures, including limitations on resources and activities, costs for equipment maintenance and other activities, and meaningful in-game purchases. The development team will also monitor and adjust the economy as needed based on player feedback and market conditions.
Yes, the Dark Frontiers Economy will be tied to real-world token values, trading volumes, and an active player base. This will allow for flexibility and adjustability based on market conditions but also means that changes in real-world markets can impact the in-game economy.
The Dark Frontiers Marketplace is the platform where users can buy, sell, and trade non-fungible tokens (NFTs) related to the Dark Frontiers game. The Marketplace also has staking and claiming features for NFTs when staking or airdrop events are available.
The Dark Frontiers Marketplace will offer a variety of NFTs that are used in the game, including spacesuits, weapons, tools, and lands.
To buy or sell NFTs on the marketplace, players must have a compatible wallet and connect it to the dashboard. They can then browse the available listings and make transactions using $DARK.
The Dark Frontiers Marketplace is designed specifically for the Dark Frontiers game and its community and is managed by the Dark Frontiers team. It offers features such as community-driven listings, staking rewards, and a burn mechanism for the marketplace fee.
The burning mechanism ensures that a portion of the marketplace fee is permanently removed from circulation, reducing the overall supply of $DARK and potentially increasing its value. In the Dark Frontiers Marketplace, there is a 10% sale fee, 5% of the fee is directed towards burning, while the other 5% goes towards community rewards and staking rewards.
Currently, the Dark Frontiers Marketplace only supports $DARK.
NFT Land in Dark Frontiers refers to virtual plots of land that players can purchase and own on the blockchain. These plots of land can be used to earn rewards, earn in-game resources, and boost rewards in guild-based activities.
Currently, you can acquire an NFT land through our marketplace. It is no longer possible to craft new lands. Lands in Dark Frontiers will be limited in availability, with a set number of plots available for purchase. This scarcity could increase the value of NFT Land over time.
While the initial batches of NFTs will be supplied on the marketplace, Dark Frontiers NFTs will be crafted in-game by players who own an NFT crafting blueprint and gather resources, conquer enemies, complete quests, level up skills, and challenge game bosses to acquire the necessary materials.
Spacesuits are the most important NFTs in the entire Dark Frontiers and give players their main stats and abilities. Spacesuits are so vital as they can essentially determine a player’s class and playstyle. They’re an integral part of the gameplay!
Owning a Dark Frontiers Limited Edition Spacesuit NFT can provide a variety of benefits, such as granting access to exclusive in-game content and providing potential value appreciation over time due to its limited quantity and unique design and attributes. All Binance NFT edition suits are the strongest suits available in the game, boasting the highest stats, and biggest oxygen tanks.
Additionally, these suits can also gain access to exclusive NFT airdrops.
While NFTs are not required to play the game, they greatly enhance your experience in-game, because all equipment in Dark Frontiers are NFTs. You however do need NFTs if you wish to earn in the game.
