Dark Frontiers Discord Town Hall Recap - March 25, 2025

Yesterday, the Dark Frontiers team hosted another engaging Discord Town Hall, joined by Sasalau, Tadas, and Andrew. Leading the discussion, Andrew addressed the community's most pressing questions. If you missed the event, don’t worry—we’ve put together a recap of the key questions and answers from the session.

Q: Will the $DARK token migrate to another network?

A: Yes we are considering migrating the token to SOL, Soneium, AVAX, or IMX. If we do migrate it will be powered by a bridging solution.

Q: Will there be large-scale testing of the game before the main release? (at least a few hundred players).

A: Yes, we will have a community-driven campaign, but in any case, bugs for a game of this size, searching for bugs and bug fixes will always be part of the development process.

Q: Will the tokenomics be changed? There are strange movements in the top 10 wallets.

A: The tokenomics will stay as it is, we have to stay true to our initial promises and numbers. As for what VCs and or IGO participants are doing, it is not something we can control.

Q: The game is currently in the pre-alpha stage. When will the alpha, beta, and full versions come out?

A: Dark Frontiers is factually already in beta, it’s just that the wording hasn’t been changed in the game itself.

Q: When will the site and roadmap be updated?

A: Site is updated, and roadmap updates are pending together with the marketing campaign. The game is pretty much delivered based on the initial core idea and plan. The rest is new initiatives like: content, integrations, partnerships, etc.

Q: When will the game be optimized and available to more players?

A: The game is already developed in order to be as optimized as possible, but as a fact products of such a scope are heavy on computing resources in many ways. As we moved from the initial simple game (stylized idea) to a more advanced and detailed one, the complexity increased in all aspects including performance requirements.

Q: Are there any streamers with whom the team has already agreed to cooperate?

A: Yes, we have partners like Aggero, working with T1 streamers and preparing campaigns. As well as our own Web3-focused KOLs.

Q: How will the team keep the interest of players? Constant events and updates are needed. We are worried that due to the small number of people on the development team, you may not be able to do everything on time and players will leave for faster-growing games.

A: In order to keep user flow: constant updates and tournaments will be part of an ongoing campaign. This is also included in our Tokenomics under the Adoption Incentives - 30% of tokens will be allocated for all upcoming campaigns.

Q: Is there any new information for NFT holders? Previously, the creator of the game wrote in Telegram that the release of the game is scheduled for the end of April. Is this still true?

A: We are planning to have it during April, but this will be adjusted based on market sentiment and partner’s cooperation with us to make a proper launch.

The reason for the fluid date is: that we recently saw projects launching 200-300k campaigns, attracting 200-300 users. So the market is pushing insane user acquisition costs due to super low sentiment.

Q: Will there be a $DARK burn and when? I mean big one, not small amounts.

A: Yes, we are aiming to burn the major part of all tokens, which is planned together with market sentiment. We need proper signs for bull market vibes. Otherwise - the burn will achieve 0 influence.

Q: When will it be possible to use land and build buildings on your own land?

A: An additional feature, we are considering implementing after the launch of the mainnet.

Q: When will the Guild Battle mode be available?

A: This is already available, we will launch explanations and tutorial videos on Dark Frontiers mechanics that might be more complex or harder to understand.

Q: What benefits will cooperation with Soneium provide? And is this cooperation officially confirmed, since there has been no official information about it yet?

A: Yes we are officially partnered with Soneium, not with Dark Frontiers, but with the studio as a whole, which of course includes Dark Frontiers. The benefits are additional user engagement, visibility, and potential support of their network partners.

Q: Will there be any new NFTs in the game? Weapons, vehicles, spacesuits…

A: No, we will keep the current set of items. New items will not be released any time soon.

Q: Will there be DAO voting? Players should be part of the team and their voice should be extremely important in some aspects concerning the development of the game. Feedback from players and the community is very important.

A: Yes, we will have DAO events. But this will be part of the on-chain game’s future roadmap developments and plans.
