The time is almost here explorers - The Dark Frontiers Early Access is just around the corner. To prepare for the launch, which is dropping on January 31st, 2PM UTC, here's a detailed guide on how to be ready to play Dark Frontiers day one!

Account Creation

1. Download and install the Metamask browser extension
2. Open Metamask extension and click the drop-down in the top left corner
3. Click add network
4. Scroll down and click “Add Network Manually”
5. Enter in the BSC testnet details as follows:

Network Name: BSC Testnet
New RPC URL: https://data-seed-prebsc-1-s1.binance.org:8545ChainID: 97
Symbol: BNB
Block Explorer URL: https://explorer.binance.org/smart-testnet

6. Press “Save”
7. Switch your Metamask network to BSC Testent
8. Go to the registration page
9. Connect your wallet to the website
10. Click the Metamask logo and log in via Metamask
11. Go back to the Connect page
12. Enter your email address
13. Go to your email to confirm your email and set your password

Congratulations, you have successfully created your testnet account for Dark Frontiers!

NFT Blueprint Crafting

To use weapons and suits in Dark Frontiers, you will need to craft NFT blueprints from the dashboard, and then, using crafting stations in the game, craft the items yourself, using NFT blueprints and items found and crafted in the game.

To mint your NFT blueprints, you will first need to add BNB testnet tokens to your Metamask wallet. You can do that here.

Please note: You will need to have at least 0.002 BNB on BSC Mainnet for test funding.

Once you have BNB Testnet Tokens in your wallet, head over to the My Assets, Crafting section. Pick the NFTs you will want to craft in the game and craft their Blueprints, you will be prompted to confirm transactions a few times on Metamask. Once complete, you will get a notification stating that crafting was successful.

Please note: We recommend crafting lower-tier items at first since you will not be able to craft high-end items from the start of the game.

Downloading Dark Frontiers

On Friday at 2 PM UTC the download link to download the Dark Frontiers launcher will become available, you will be able to do so from the connect page on the dashboard. Once you’ve finished installing the GameHub launcher, click on Dark Frontiers and download the game.

When the download is finished, you can launch and log in to play Dark Frontiers!

Please note: Dark Frontiers will be available on Epic Games at a later date, and you will be able to use Epic Games to log in to Dark Frontiers instead, but currently, you need a Dark Frontiers Account to play.

NFT Crafting

Once in the game, you will start with no items. Following the first quest, you will make your way to the Dark Frontiers Outpost where you will be able to retrieve your blueprints from the Storage Facility. Then you can head over to the crafting area, where you will be able to check what items you need to be able to craft those items. Some items can be dropped from enemies or by gathering raw materials, while others will need to be crafted/refined into the material you need.

Dark Frontiers has hundreds of craftable items so be sure to check all the crafting stations to see what items need to be crafted and which can only be collected.
